Which river
Danube, Rhine, Douro, Seine, a U.S. river. Tell us whether you want walking towns, vineyard days, or a stretch of water that stays quiet. The ship comes after the river.
Rivers
A river morning is the point.
Europe’s rivers, and the quieter American ones, reward a different pace.
Included days
Included touring is useful only when it matches how you like to spend a day. A free morning in a walkable town is often the better design.
Air into the first city
The embarkation city is part of the week. Flight, hotel night if needed, and transfer are one piece.
Season
Shoulder weeks can be the more human pace. Peak Christmas markets and peak summer are a different product. Write with the month you can actually take.
